FIFA Club World Cup 2025: full schedule, kick-off times, format and live streaming

FIFA Club World Cup 2025 started in the United States this Sunday. FIFA has reorganized the tournament in its 21st edition and included 32 teams in it. It has been decided to organize it every four years, making changes and expansion compared to previous editions.

32 teams from all continents of the world will compete in 63 matches for 29 days and will try to become the first champion of this expanded tournament with a new format. The prize money in this big tournament has also been kept quite high; the winner of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will get about 100 million dollars this time.

Expansion of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025

FIFA has included 12 clubs from Europe, seven clubs from South America, four clubs from Africa, three clubs from the United States, two clubs from Asia, two clubs from Mexico, two clubs from the Middle East, and one club from Oceania in its new format for 2025. An additional slot is being given to the Inter Miami Club of the host country, the USA.

Number of teams in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025

In this tournament starting in the United States on Sunday, June 15, 2025, all 32 teams will play their matches in 12 stadiums in 11 different cities in America. On Sunday, July 13, the final match of this tournament will be played at MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey.

Format of FIFA Club World Cup 2025

The 32 teams have been divided into eight groups of four teams (from Group A to H). Each team will play three group-stage matches in a round-robin format, in which it will face every team in its pool once. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the next round of the knockout stage. The knockout stage will have a round of 16, followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 tournament will last a full month, starting on Sunday, June 15, until the final on Sunday, July 13. Kick-off times during the group stage will vary from 12 pm to 9 pm USA time each day.
